It’s moving quickly toward the end,
I’d like to thank you all, my friends,
For all the memories we have shared,
For all the tears and laughter bared.

I’ve traveled very far from home,
Through every move, I’ve always known.
No matter where, I’ve felt you close,
And in your hearts, I’ve found my hope.

But now the time is growing near,
I need to speak these words you’ll hear,
About the way I feel towards you.
“I love you” will just have to do!

We’ve danced through life, both good and bad,
Some moments were happy, some were sad.
Yet through it all, you’ve been my light,
Guiding me through the darkest nights.

Though roads diverge, and time moves fast,
Our bonds will hold; they will not pass.
The time we shared, the laughs, the cries
Are etched in me; they’ll never die.

And though I left, please know this clear:
Your voices echo, ever near.
Each whisper shared, each silent song
Has carried me and made me strong.

So as I age, the past comes too,
And in my heart, I carry you.
The words are few, but they ring true:
“I love you all” will have to do!
