“Throughout The Years”
“Throughout the years, I’ve whispered 'this too shall pass' so many times, and now, all those moments have passed. Maybe it’s time to stop saying it, in hopes that things won’t slip away so quickly.
It’s funny how words can sometimes become a comfort, even when they start to feel empty. Perhaps by letting go of this axiom, I can find new strength in facing whatever comes next, without expecting it to rush by so fast. This may be the moment to find patience within myself, to sit with the present, reflect on the past, and trust that even the hardest times will eventually give way, just like those before.
Maybe it’s time to embrace stillness: to sit quietly with what is and cherish what has been, instead of constantly looking ahead for the next moment of relief. In this, I’ve discovered a deeper peace within myself, not just in waiting for the storm to pass, but in learning to stand firm through it. Perhaps true strength lies not in wishing for things to change quickly, but in trusting that each moment, no matter how difficult, holds its own purpose and lesson. By staying present, I can begin to see that even the toughest days are part of a larger, unfolding journey. It reminds me that life isn’t just a series of moments to get through, but a flow of moments to relish, a journey where everything is interconnected and unfolding, and sometimes, the only way forward is to simply be here, now.”
“This collection of moments is from my archives. Moments that I did not discover on the first pass around. That doesn’t mean that they are any less meaningful than the ones I originally chose, as a matter of fact I think that it is some of my best work ever. It just means that I didn’t see them through the same lens as I do now. I hope they bring you some repose in turbulent times and help you to simply be. Even if it is momentary!”
